St. George Trip

Our trip to St. George this summer was fantastic. We were blessed to  see many Richardson cousins on the way there and at Jared's homecoming in Provo. It was amazing to spend time with all of them. St. George is still as gorgeous and wonderful as I remember. It was my kids and Jason's first time there and now they understand why I love visiting so much. The best part of the trip was seeing Joseph and his family and my awesome dad! It was so nice to spend time with them at Grandfather and Mama Quinita's home.

It took Maddilyn a little time to warm up to everyone, but Mama Quinita won her over by letting her play with her little porcelain dolls.

My Grandma and Grandpa Richardson happened to be in St. George in a condo the same time we were visiting, so we went swimming with them.

Abbigail enjoying the view!

It was so wonderful to spend time with my dad!

I honestly don't know if James is smiling or scowling.

My sweet cousin, Iris, turned 9 years old.

Hiking at Pioneer park

The kids loved discovering small caves and holes in the rock.

Cute cousins!

Awesome picture of the St. George temple from Pioneer Park!

Maddilyn decided she was done hiking and told daddy, "I went to lay on the mountain," in a very tired, whiny voice.

My cousin, Tera, is quite the explorer. It was so fabulous to spend time with her. I have missed her so much!

The next day we explored the Rock Playground, a family favorite.

My dad is telling us all how he discovered these hieroglyphics. Pretty cool stuff!

 Climbing the Rock!

I can't believe my dad fit through this small tunnel, but he did!

It was easy for small Hyrum.

Yes!

Sitting in the dragon cave.

All the kiddies and Joseph.

Made it to the top!

What a cute family.

Pappy with his 2 oldest grandchildren.

Joseph lifting up a rock to see if there are any lizards for the kids to see.

They made it!

Dinosaur Tracks

We were all so hot and tired, especially poor Abbigail.

Staring at the dinosaur prints. Cute boys!

Daddy's girls.

Hot, tired, and ready to chill.

3-wheeling in Grandfather's backyard. The kids loved riding with daddy.

Chowing down.

Jason was so proud of this picture he took. Pretty awesome!

Ready to swim in Grandfather's pool.

We went to the St. George temple with Grandfather. It was beautiful and my kids loved it. Maddi asked the sister missionaries to restart the Christus message about 10 times. She loved it.

They loved the flowers at the temple grounds.

Maddi loves the temple.

 Eating Mama Quinita's fabulous food.

Beautiful St. George Sky

We took 2 days and spent some time at Temple Square in Salt Lake City before we went home. We had such a wonderful time being together as a sweet, little family.
