Four Months Old

Maddilyn turned 4 months old on Sunday. We went to her 4 month doctor's appointment and our little gal sure is growing. She is 26 and 1/2 inches long and weighs 15 lbs 8.5 ounces. What a big girl!! She is starting to laugh more and more and can be quite the happy baby when she chooses. While we were at the doctor's office something funny happened. We were waiting for the doctor in one of the rooms. In each room there are pictures of children (previous patients) all over the cabinets. As I was looking at them I leapt from my seat astonished to see a picture of my cousin Carter. I couldn't believe it. Jason didn't believe me, but the more I got to thinking I remembere Aunt Kristi and the boys lived in Nampa when the boys were younger. So, I took a picture of the picture on my phone. I have no doubt that it is Carter. I remember that my mom has that picture in one of the family albums. What a small world.

Here are some more pics from Maddilyn's 4 month photo shoot.

I love this picture. I have no idea what she is thinking, but she makes me laugh.

Maddilyn started eating rice cereal the past couple of weeks. She seems to like eating her bib more than eating the cereal.

Ahh, she is so cute with food on her face!!!

MUGSHOT

Maddilyn, my noise maker, is so much fun!!!  Last week we were trying to watch a show and finally just turned it off because our little jabber jaws was too noisy to hear over. Oh no, I think she may be taking after her mother. She has really turned into a smiley girl. She loves to laugh, although she laughs a little like my sister Becky. Becky laughs with her mouth opened really wide, but no noise comes out. Yes, Maddi does it too. It is so Becky.

We went to a play date with a bunch of mom's and their kids today. Maddilyn was dressed in this cute Minnie outfit. When we walked in the lady hosting it ran to her room and brought back this Minnie Mouse bow that matched her outfit perfectly. Thanks for the bow Joey. We love it.

Sometimes, I think some people really look like an animal or mystical creature. You may not agree, but I really think Maddilyn looks like an Elf. Okay, sometimes she looks like a mouse too.

This picture cracks me up!!!

Sister Cool

Okay, funny story. Last week I went in to renew my license. Everything was going great until they checked my eyes. When I looked through the machine, I was shocked when I couldn't see anything but dots. It was terrible. I couldn't figure out any of the letters. Needless to say they sent me to see an eye doctor before I could get my license. Yesterday I went and my eyes were the same as they always have been. So, with my signed note from the Doctor I headed back to get my license. You know what the lady said when I told her my eyes were fine? "Oh, I guess the machine is broken again." What?!! So apparently this happens to a lot of people. I seriously thought I was going blind.

I have the best husband in the world. My goodness he is so cute and sweet. I love that life can be so fun.

Easter at Pine

For Easter we went to Jason's grandparents cabin/home in Pine, Idaho. We met up with all his family and stayed in the lodge his grandparent's own. The drive there was incredible. Fresh snow covered the ground. Wow, I love being in the mountains. Absolutely fabulous, I can't wait to see it in the summer.

Here are some super cute pics of the family in Pine:
Daisha took this picture of Grandma Trish

Tucker is such a sweetie and Maddilyn absolutely loves him.

Loser, oh wait I mean, Jeremy.

Easter Sunday Tucker, Bryton and Daisha ran through the lodge yelling "Happy Easter". It was pretty cute. It was also my birthday so they sang me a beautiful rendtion of Happy Birthday through my door.
