Well, Missouri was wonderful. It was so great to be with my parents and sisters. I miss them, but I sure am glad to be back with Jason. We missed him so much. I do miss girl chat, though. I forgot how much my sisters talk and how much I talk when I am around them. My poor father needs more men in the family. Good thing Jamie is dating like crazy, maybe one of these days she will date someone we all want to keep in the family, forever. No pressure, Jamie. Emily and I had a lot of fun cooking together. My sisters made me feel great by requesting some of my "specialty" recipes while I was there. I never thought my food was that great, but they like it. Becky was busy a lot of the time studying for the ACT's, but when she was done we had a lot of fun. Oh, I just love my sisters. They seriously are the sweetest girls I know. We had a blast making flower hair bows for Maddi and Tie Dye Shirts.
Every morning I would take Maddilyn into my dad's office to say good morning. Maddilyn loves her Grandpa. Her whole face would light up. While the home teacher's were over one evening, she kept trying to get my dad to pay attention to her. As soon as he would look at her, she would smile and kick her legs.
I really miss my mom. She was absolutely amazing. Every morning she would feed and play with Maddi so I could get ready. I loved having my mom pamper me. I am so spoiled.
Maddi loves her Aunties. It took her awhile to get used to all the new faces, but by the end of our trip she enjoyed everyone.
Maddi tried sweet potatoes, squash, and bananas for the first time while in Missouri. She sure loves sweet potatoes. She is taking after her Mama. Good Girl!!!
Two days after we arrived in Missouri, Maddilyn sat up without any help for the first time. Her daddy was sure sad he missed it, but it was exciting. She loves sitting now, she thinks she is so big and she really is happier now. She came home happier and much bigger.
