Stories I have to write down so I wont forget!!!

My girls are so cute and I want to remember some of the cute things they do, so here are a few stories that make me smile.

Lets start with Maddilyn. Maddilyn, although crazy busy, has a very sweet heart. She is very giving and loving. Today as I was putting her down for her nap I was trying to find her blanket that she screams for if she doesn't have it. I couldn't find it anywhere, so I asked her where she thought it was. She replied "Blanket sleeping." I told her don't you want it to sleep with you and she said "No blanket sleeping." Confused I continued to look for the blanket. I finally found it. It was tucked around her baby sister who was sleeping. Abbigail has been sad all day (not feeling well) and I guess Maddi was trying to make her feel better. What an amazing big sister.

A couple of days ago for dinner Jason was helping Maddi finish her dinner. He told her if she ate all her applesauce she could have some broccoli. Maddi's face lit up and she quickly downed her applesauce so she could eat broccoli. I had to laugh because that child cracks me up. She would choose broccoli and cauliflour over chocolate. I guess she truly is my child.

Then last night Jason had a game he was coaching so he called me on the phone to tell me how it went. Maddilyn was standing by me when I told him I needed to put her to bed. After I hung up the phone I went to find her so I could get her to bed. I looked all over and finally went in her room. She was on her bed practically asleep. What a sweetheart. I know she is really busy, but she really is a good girl! And these are all stories I want to remember.

Abbigail is an absolute angel of a baby. She smiles the minute you look at her and just loves being tickled and kissed. She loves sitting on the couch with Maddilyn. I think we treat her older than she is because she is so laid back. Last night she wasn't feeling well and wanted to be held constantly. Jason didn't get home until 10:30. She was so excited to see him and cuddle with him Two minutes later she was sound asleep. My goodness she is such a daddy's girl. She didn't want to fall asleep until she saw her daddy. How cute!

If one is happy the other is happy. If one is sad the other is sad.

Catch up Time

So much has happened this past month. We had an awesome Halloween!! Lots of family came and helped us with our annual spook garage. As always it was a success. The Saturday before we took the girls to Boo at the Zoo. One of our friends took family pictures and they turned out amazing. Then we took Maddilyn to Trunk or treat. Abbigail slept in daddy's arms the whole time and Maddi was pretty much a walking zombie dressed as a fairy. She was so tired. It started at her bedtime. She was so cute, even though so sleepy.

Now that November is here that means basketball season has started. Jason is coaching the boys freshman/sophomore team at Homedale. He is pretty excited to be coaching boys this time. Life is so busy for that guy. He leaves early and comes home late. Poor Maddi sure has missed her daddy this week and so have I. I am so blessed to have such dilligent husband who comes home happy every day even though he is exhausted. Between work, coaching, and his calling he stays so busy and still manages to be a great dad and husband. I love him so much.

Maddilyn is such a fun, but very busy girl. We have had fun learning new things together. This week we learned all about leaves. Wow, that girl is now obsessed with them. She loves leaves so much that we made a leaf jar and every time she finds a leaf she likes she adds it to her collection. She is such a cutie, but grows more mishchievous every day.

Abbigail is an angel. I hate to brag, but she pretty much sleeps through the night already. She sleeps 7 hours at a time. I am so blessed to have such a sweet baby. She is the giggliest baby I have ever seen and pretty much never stops smiling. I was trying to put her socks on today and she giggled the whole time. Silly girl!! I sure love having my two sweet girls.

Here are my favorite pics from the past month:

Poor Abbi Jo looks terrified of Maddilyn in these pictures. Sometimes Maddi loves her baby sister a little too much. They really are so cute together.

To All My Lady Friends

This post is for everyone who has felt depressed or just felt black. If I am right and I think I am, that probably is all of you. We have all gone through those black days where we feel like nothing or feel so depressed we can't handle life anymore. I had a friend come over today who is going through that right now. She has considered suicide several times this month and I felt like her telling me this was a desperate cry for help. I had no idea she was suffering so much and when she left I felt the tears streaming down my face. I felt like a terrible friend because I didn't know. I think we as a women need to stick together. Stop feeling like you can't talk about your pain because you are afraid that people are judging you. We all suffer, but we shouldn't suffer alone. This is my cry out to all of you, please call me if you need a lifeline. Please know I am there for you. I love you all so much and I do not want to wake up and find out that one of you took your life because you hurt too much to live. Also remember that God loves you. Turn to prayer when you feel you can't handle anything else. He wants us to be happy. Don't forget this and please know you can always call me. I don't care what time it is.

I love you so much, my friends.

Love, Anne

I Love Crazy Days!!!!

Today I woke up happy and that is definitely a good thing. I have been having some baby blues days, so it was a good thing today I felt so great because it got crazy fast. I needed to go grocery shopping so, I headed out the door with my 2 girls. Maddilyn decided running would be fun and booked it down the street. I put Abbi down and headed after her. My heart stopped when I saw a car speeding towards her. Adrenaline kicked in and I was able to run towards the car and get them to stop before they hit my little girl. I finally got both girls in the car and buckled when I noticed a hornet sitting on Maddilyn's hair. I swatted at him and that made him super mad and he stung me. Thank goodness both of girls were okay. Once back from the store I went outside to grab a tub from one of the shelves. The tub was on the top shelf and heavier than I thought. As I pulled it down it dropped and hit the stack of boards Jason had propped up. Like dominoes they came spilling down and hit a random jar off of the shelves. It shattered on the floor. As this was going on I heard a scream from inside. My clumsy Maddilyn had run into the baby swing and it had toppled over on top of her. Her little wrist was squished. Although a little swollen she seems to be fine. I am so glad Abbigail wasn't in the swing at the time. Although a crazy day I find it all somewhat comical. It's a good thing my happy spirits can't be broken today. I am especially happy that both girls are safe and doing well. I love crazy days (said in a somewhat, but not too sarcastic voice).

Family Pics and Anniversary Celebration

On Sunday my mother-in-law took family pictures for us. These are the first pictures we have taken with all 4 of us. Enjoy!!!

Because our wedding anniversary is 2 days after Christmas, we celebrate our anniversary on the day we got engaged, October 8. So, Saturday we went out. It was the first time we have left both of the girls with Grandma and Papa. Luckily, Abbi slept the whole time. It was so nice to be just with Jas. I love him so much. Come December we will have been married 3 years and he still likes me. Yeah!!! Since we have been married I have been pregnant or breastfeeding all but 2 months. That means he has put up with a lot of hormones, and many more to come. He is the most patient man I have ever met. I am so blessed to have him in my life.

Getting Bigger

My sweet Abbigail Jo had her 1 month doctor's appointment which turned out to be a 6 week visit last week. She is healthy as can be. She is 11 lbs 7 oz and is 23.5 inches. She is a smiley, sweet girl. I love her so much. We all do. Maddilyn loves her sister and walks around the house saying, "Abbi Jo Jo," all the time.

Joy

I am so thankful for the amazing talks from General Conference. I am so blessed to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love my Savior. I love my Father in Heaven. The knowledge I have of their love is what keeps me going through the tough times of life. I am so blessed to have the knowledge that my family can be together forever. I feel so uplifted and loved. My life is wonderful right now. I have two amazingly cute daughters and the best husband in the world. He is my best friend. I miss him when he is at school and so does our cute girls. My family brings me so much joy. I hope these pictures of my cute girlies brings you a little joy too. I love you all.

My Crazy Girl

Maddilyn would brush her teeth all day long, if I would let her.

Maddilyn wanted Abbigail to wear a hat. Doesn't she look cute?

Abbigail is such a smiley baby. She started smiling at about 3 1/2 weeks. I wasn't sure if they were real smiles or not at first. Now there is no doubt she is really smiling.
