Christmas+Birthday=Lots of Family Time

Christmas was wonderful. My parents, my 3 sisters and Jamie's husband all came from Missouri to celebrate with us. It was amazing to have them here for almost 2 weeks. We had so much fun. We were able to spend time with both the Kiesters and Sheppards which made the season even better. A couple of days after Christmas my Aunt Maria came to visit with her 6 children. I hadn't seen her in about 6 years so it was incredible to introduce her to my little family. My dad was so happy to have time with his little sister too. What a great family time.

My dad and Maddilyn dissapeared into the toyroom one day and came out dressed up as Robots.

Maddilyn was the Robot Princess

Maddi was given so many presents from all the aunties, grandmas, and grandpas. After opening just a few, Christmas morning, she decided she had had enough. We ended up opening most of her gifts for her. She loved them all!!

Maddilyn's birthday is on Christmas Day, so this year we celebrated it on the 27th. We started the day off with have a Princess Dance Party with my family. Everyone but my dad dressed up. It was quite hilarious. Maddilyn loved every minute of it.

Thanks to Aunt Jackie for this adorable fairy costume and the yellow tutu Abbi wore too. Maddilyn wears both tutus daily.

My mom made these princess crowns for the girls Christmas present.

Later that day we had Maddi's Birthday party. She woke up right before everyone came. She was a little grumpy at first, but warmed up as she got more gifts.

She loved her shopping cart from Grandma Laurie (Mem) and her princess apron from Grandma Pam.

I was pretty worn out from Christmas, so here is my weak-sauce attempt to make Cookie Monster. All that matters is the kids and especially Maddilyn loved it.
